Dr. Dirk DeKoch has practiced family, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry in Alamo Heights for more than four decades, and has directed the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic for over 22 years.
Dr. Dirk P. DeKoch has spent more than four decades practicing in the Alamo Heights area, focusing on family, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and earned his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1980.
Over that career he has been featured on the Super Dentists® list in Texas Monthly and has received numerous honors from his peers and from local and statewide organizations.
Beyond the practice
Dr. DeKoch has directed the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic for more than 22 years, providing care to patients who would otherwise go without it. He serves as the dental consultant to the Alamo Heights School District, sits on the Board of the San Antonio District Dental Society, and has been a guest lecturer at the UT Health Science Center School of Dentistry.
He served as Chairman of the Texas A&M College of Science External Advisory and Development Council from 2009 to 2010.
Personally
Dr. DeKoch is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio. He is married to Susan, and they have three adult children — two of whom are dentists, and one in real estate. Outside the office he enjoys travel, hunting, and golf.
