Accessibility

We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.

What we have done

This website was built to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:

  • Text and interface colours were checked against the backgrounds they actually sit on, to meet contrast minimums
  • Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • A "skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text
  • Headings follow a logical order, with one page title per page
  • Animation is reduced automatically for visitors whose system is set to prefer reduced motion
  • Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling down to small screens

Where we may fall short

Parts of this site rely on third-party components — the appointment request form and the embedded map — whose accessibility we do not fully control. If one of them prevents you from doing something, please tell us and we will help you another way.
